Dear Members and TLC Supporters,
“Members”- that has a great ring to it. Membership makes you feel special; that
you belong to something, a group or maybe even to a community. Well
members welcome to 2011 and this year’s theme is Membership Benefits.
I do not know about you but when I join a group I want to know what do I get
out of it? Do the benefits exceed the expenses? Am I getting business from this
organization? How does it help me in the long run? This year the board and I are
dedicated into making your membership dollars go a long way . The Chamber
newsletter will be published monthly, showcasing what our member-to-member
benefits are and what special perks you get when you become a “Member”. In
this issue you will find some of the benefits that were mentioned at our January
2011 luncheon. If you want to submit another benefit for our next newsletter,

In January 2011 TLC installed the 2011 chamber board. We have a lot of
dedicated professionals willing to serve the Latin business community in Tampa.
On January 17 the board and I participated in the board retreat. We created the
calendar year for TLC which includes an awards banquet, a business expo,
bowling tournament, and a golf tournament. In March 2012 the chamber will
host a trade conference for Latin American business. So there will be a little
something for everyone.
The board and I look forward to serving your company and the Tampa Latin
Community.
