Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 2^nd Annual, Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Dinner, hosted by Carlos Jose Peralta

[NEWS RELEASE] Tampa, FL – November 2011.  Join the Tampa Latin Chamber (TLC) for our 2^nd Annual Business Awards Dinner on Friday, November 18^th, 2011 at the Double Tree Tampa, by Hilton Hotel!

In an effort to recognize and honor local outstanding Hispanic/Latino Business Leaders, the Board of Directors of the Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce would like to invite Tampa Bay community to nominate an outstanding Hispanic/Latino Business person.  Program includes awards program, full dinner, Orchestra Aramis performing LIVE, DJ and Dancing!

Awards in the following categories will be given to Business Owners, Executives and Professionals.  Business of the year awards: Small Business (1-5 employees), Medium Business (6-30), Large Business (30+), Not-for-profit, Business Student, Volunteer, Media Professional, and “Compadre/Comadre”, which is given to a “non-Hispanic” member whose contributions have enhanced the Hispanic/Latino community. 

The judging committee is comprised of the Board of Directors of the Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce who embody only the highest of standards of integrity and community service. The judges’ decisions will be announced at our Awards Banquet on Friday, November 18^th, 2011 @ The Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, located at 4500 W. Cypress St., Tampa, FL.

Criteria for Nominations:

• Nominees do not have to be members of the Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce.


• Nominees must be at least 25% Hispanic/Latino 


• Nominee must be active in the public or private sector in the areas of arts, business, civic involvement,    

      education, public service/government, or media.

• Nominees must have achieved outstanding success in their chosen fields, whether it is a traditional career or an active career of volunteer service.

Deadline for Nominations: Nominations must be received on the attached forms. The forms may be photocopied. Nominations must be postmarked by: 11/7/11.  The application form can be mailed to: Tampa Latin Chamber of Commerce (TLC) P.O. The Tampa Latin Chamber’s (TLC) 2012 annual membership cost is $100 for individuals and corporate membership pricing is $250.  Reduced annual membership costs are $50 for not-for-profit corporations and $25 for full-time students.  TLC membership provides many exclusive benefits including networking opportunities, discounted event costs and unique advertising options with local media available only to chamber members.
